Thursday Comfort Zone Meeting – 7:00 PM ET
The Thursday Comfort Zone Meeting is designed to help participants explore the edges of their growth. Recovery is not only about stopping harmful behaviours, it’s about building new experiences, challenging old beliefs, and creating space for authentic living.
This group provides a safe and supportive environment to reflect on where we feel stuck, where we might be holding ourselves back, and how we can gently push beyond the walls of our comfort zones. Each week, Aaron facilitates a conversation that blends recovery principles with practical strategies for personal growth. Topics may include:
Learning to tolerate discomfort without avoidance
Trying new behaviours in relationships and daily life
Building confidence through small steps
Recognizing and validating fear while choosing values-based action
The goal is not to push participants into unsafe situations, but rather to stretch the boundaries of what feels possible, opening the door to new opportunities and deeper connections.
For anyone who has felt limited by old patterns of fear, avoidance, or self-doubt, the Thursday Comfort Zone Meeting offers a chance to experiment, reflect, and grow in the company of others walking a similar path.
There is no registration process required to attend. You simply drop in at the scheduled time, click the link, and you’re part of the conversation. All that is asked of you is to come with openness and respect. To keep The Chat Room safe, supportive, and productive, we have a set of group norms that guide how we interact. These norms are explained in detail in a video linked HERE, and it’s important to review them before your first session so you can feel prepared to participate.
