The beginning of the week is a powerful time to pause, reflect, and set our intentions. The Monday Check-In is a structured group conversation designed to help participants ground themselves after the weekend and move into the week with clarity, accountability, and purpose.

Weekends can often bring both challenges and opportunities. Whether it’s navigating social situations, facing old triggers, or simply experiencing shifts in routine, the Monday Check-In provides space to process those experiences. Participants are invited to share what came up for them, reflect on the lessons learned, and acknowledge both successes and struggles without judgment.

From there, the conversation shifts toward looking forward. Using the integrated philosophies of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), the group focuses on goal-setting, values-based living, and creating a plan for the days ahead. The intention is not only to recover from the past weekend but to actively build momentum for the week, ensuring that choices are guided by values rather than old patterns or automatic behaviours.

The Monday Check-In is about

Reflection – processing what happened over the weekend

Awareness – noticing emotional and behavioural patterns

Intention – setting goals rooted in personal values

Action – committing to small, meaningful steps toward Living the Life You Want to Live

Each week, participants leave with a renewed sense of direction and the accountability of community support. By starting the week with clarity and connection, the Monday Check-In helps anchor recovery and values-based living in the realities of everyday life.

There is no registration process required to attend. You simply drop in at the scheduled time, click the link, and you’re part of the conversation. All that is asked of you is to come with openness and respect. To keep The Chat Room safe, supportive, and productive, we have a set of group norms that guide how we interact. These norms are explained in detail in a video linked HERE, and it’s important to review them before your first session so you can feel prepared to participate.
