Movies have the power to tell stories that mirror our struggles, challenge our beliefs, and inspire our growth. The Tuesday Movie Night Meeting is a unique recovery group that uses film as a tool for reflection, discussion, and self-awareness.

Each week, participants come together to watch a film or documentary, either in real time or beforehand, and then engage in a guided group discussion. With Aaron as facilitator, the conversation focuses on identifying themes of resilience, relationships, identity, and transformation, connecting what we see on the screen to our own journeys of recovery.

This meeting is not about critiquing films, it’s about using storytelling as a mirror for self-discovery. Participants are encouraged to share insights, explore emotional reactions, and consider how the stories on screen highlight the challenges and possibilities of living a values-based life.

Whether you’re a film enthusiast or just looking for a new perspective, the Tuesday Movie Night Meeting offers an engaging way to connect, learn, and grow together in community.

There is no registration process required to attend. You simply drop in at the scheduled time, click the link, and you’re part of the conversation. All that is asked of you is to come with openness and respect. To keep The Chat Room safe, supportive, and productive, we have a set of group norms that guide how we interact. These norms are explained in detail in a video linked HERE, and it’s important to review them before your first session so you can feel prepared to participate.
